A philosophy buff who created angsty and often unsettling poetry for the anxiety-ridden inner person you try and burry with ice cream and chocolate.
It’s funny, most people (including philosophers themselves) have historically viewed art and philosophy as bitterly divorced – and yet, existentialism is quite the opposite. Sartre and de Beauvoir viewed art, i.e. a form of “indirect communication” quite favorably, going so far as to argue that the artist has a duty to fulfill to convey conviction.
I’d contend myself that existentialism itself is an art form.
And I’m just doing my duty to the world.
